NOVA University Lisbon is open for an educational summer with several courses and initiatives taking place at the several NOVA schools until September:
NOVA School of Science and Technology
The areas of science and engineering invite you to a dynamic summer under the sun of Caparica. There will be activities during the month of July for the students of the school but also to hgher education students.

NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities
Dive in the world of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities at NOVA FCSH. The school organizes several initiatives for different publics:
- Summer School: This program consists of several courses in different areas, with a duration of 15 or 25 hours. Admission is free, which means you do not need to present any certificate or previous application;
- Summer at NOVA: this program takes place in July and is meant for higher education students with the purpose of showing them the areas in which the school operates and how science is made in the areas of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Nova School of Business and Economics
Before leaving to the new campus in Carcavelos, Nova SBE says goodbye to Campolide with initiatives that aim at different groups:
- Living the Future: for higher education students that are consider following a degree in economics or management at Nova SBE;
- Entrepreneurship & Social Innovation: the Lisbon Experience: for 2nd and 3rd year Bachelor students that consider following their studies in a Master at Nova SBE (and mainly for the ones that wish to follow the areas of expertise that the summer course focus on) or that consider integrating the labor market soon in the areas of entrepreneuship and social innovation.
NOVA Information Management School
NOVA IMS invites students, IT professionals and the general public interest in this area to an innovative summer, focused on the new technologies:
- Advanced JavaScript (ES6): this courses offers a solud base on JavaScript language, in its most recent version - ES6;
- Introduction to Python: the purpose of this course is to provide a solid base regarding Python, programming language with a considerable impact on the business world;
- Object Oriented Programming: C# is a programming language oriented towards objects that may be used in any operating system (multiplatform).This course seeks to teach the language and to create a solid base to explore further potential of programming languages;
- Introduction to OutSystems Development Foundation: OutSystems @Universities Enablement Program is a complete process that begings with communication activities at universities (clarification session + workshops), followed by an evaluation day to select the best students to participate in a full program of OutSystems Development.
ITQB NOVA - Institute of Chemical and Biological Technology António Xavier
- Summer Science @ ITQB NOVA: for the third time, ITQB NOVA challenges students to experience science in real research environment. Aimed at 2nd and 3rd year bachelor students, the initiative raises awareness regarding the research that is carried out at the institution and challenges them to build a project in a lab of their choice.
