The 2022 edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings places NOVA in the 18th position among young European institutions effectively founded less than 50 years ago. At the national level, NOVA is in the first position and leads prominently.
The prestigious ranking evaluates universities under 50 years old on 13 performance indicators that cover the main missions of higher education institutions, such as teaching, research, knowledge/technology transfer and international outlook.
