Under the theme "Save the oceans and the future of the planet", the Oceans Conference is an international mega event that will gather the world in Lisbon and NOVA will be there, all week, at Parque das Nações.
In front of representatives of the 193 UN member states, and thousands of people from financial entities, non-governmental organizations and civil society present in our country to discuss and present solutions to save the oceans and the future of the planet, NOVA University Lisbon promotes several activities at its stand, located under the stage of the Portuguese Pavilion, where the public will be able to get to know the work developed at the university regarding issues of the sea.

Moreover, there will be a very special session, on the 30th, at 9:00 am. Taking place in the One Sustainable Ocean Auditorium, located in the Pavilhão de Portugal, at 09:00 a.m., it will be the moment for the public presentation of the Ocean BA, promoted in partnership between NOVA and the Algarve University, whose objectives and structure will be detailed by Professor Assunção Cristas.
