If you have a research project in the field of chronic disease and infection, please notice that until March 31st 2022 you will be able to apply for the NOVAhealth Chronic Disease and Infection Research Grant in the amount of ten thousand euros. The research challenge of this fellowship is to contribute to a better understanding of the forces and dynamics between infection and chronic diseases, in order to develop and obtain better and more sustainable solutions to problems related to infection and chronic diseases through the promotion of knowledge and awareness, based on science and evidence.
In the year of 2022, the general theme of the grant is "Long-Covid", with projects being accepted for studies on the effects of this infection on human health and society, including their underlying molecular and immunological mechanisms.
The NOVAhealth Chronic Disease and Infection Research Grant is an initiative of the Chronic Disease and Infection Group within the scope of the NOVAhealth Interdisciplinary Platform of NOVA University Lisbon, and supported by Pfizer.
The wining project will be announced on April 29th 2022.
