The winners of the IX NOVA Photography Contest which had “Light and Shadow” as theme this year, were announced on 22 May at the Rectorate. The jury, presided by Professor Margarida Medeiros, from the Department of Communication Sciences of FCSH-NOVA, chose the winner and second and third places and also gave six honorable mentions given the high quality of the photos in this year’s competition.
1st Prize - Catarina Porto Grilo (FCT) | "Salta"
2nd Prize - Marcos Duvágo (FCSH) | "Tens a minha mão aberta, à espera de se fechar"
3rd Prize - Ricardo Martins Geraldes (FCSH) | "MECANOSFERA #04c"

The contest is organized by the Social Welfare Services of NOVA and is open to all the students of the University.
