"Anatomia de uma ópera", by Sibila Lind, journalist from the newspaper "Páblico", was the winner of the Revelation award of "Prémios Gazeta", the most prestigious journalism award in Portugal. The article describes the backstage and rehearsals of an opera ("The Rake's Progress", by Stravinsky, staging by Rui Horta and musical direction by Joana Carneiro). Sibila Lind, alumna at NOVA's Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas /FCSH/NOVA), was also awarded best Master student in Journalism by FCSH/NOVA tn the academic year 2014/2015.
Ricardo Rodrigues, FCSH/NOVA alumnus in Communication Sciences, won Press Award, and Rita Colaço, alumna in Geography and Regional Planning won Radio Award. Rita Colaço was already distinguished in the Radio Award of "Prémios Gazeta" in 2012, next to Nuno Assunção (Television Award) and Tiago Carrasco (Multimedia Award).
In 2014, Pedro Coelho, teacher at FCSH/NOVA, and Fábio Monteiro, alumnus, also won "Prémios Gazeta".
