NOVA Talks with Eugénia Cunha "Questions on Mankind"

In the second edition of NOVA Talks, Eugénia Cunha will tell us the role of Forensic Anthropology in the study of mankind. The importance of the skeleton in the reconstruction of mankind History, in role of Forensic Anthropology in the search of death causes and circumstances in crime or war scenarios and the identification of human remains are some of the topics that will be addressed in the second edition of "NOVA Talks with... Eugénia Cunha".

Eugénia Cunha, Full Professor at Life Science Deopartment from Universidade de Coimbra since 2003; Forensic Anthropology national consultant for Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal e Ciências Forenses, since 1997; Presidente of FASE, Forensic Anthropology Society of Europe, since 2009; Founder and consultant for Associação Brasileira de Antropologia Forense, since 2014. Eugénia Cunha was awarded with a Honoris Causa from FASE as independent expert of Forensic Anthropology since 2014. She is also an expert’s group member of the Justice for Rapid Response, since 2013. Eugénia Cunha author several international scientific publications (Perfil Google Académico), she is guest lecturer in several countries, supervised more than 20 PhD thesis. Eugénia Cunha research focus Forensic Anthropology, in special the determination of age when death occurred and skeleton biology.
