Universidade NOVA de Lisboa was voted the Portuguese University that, in 2014, best promoted the Entrepreneurial spirit. The prize was awarded during the 3rd edition of the Startup Lisboa Take Off that took place at ABC – Airport Business Center, Lisbon Airport executive lounge.
NOVA has an Entrepreneurship Office that aims to creation and development of Entrepreneurial Ecosystem within the University through involvement of various entities.
Seabookings and CrowdProcess are two of the many success cases supported by Startup Lisboa and Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. Seabookings participated on NOVA's ONE Academy 2013 and won, like CrowdProcess, one of the awards of NOVA's entrepreneurship competition NOVA Idea competition.
Over the last three years, Startup Lisboa hosted 16 businesses from NOVA students and alumni, namely the famous Codacy, Zaask, Mygob, Mobiag and 360imprimir.
