The next meeting of the PRIDE project - Professionals in Doctoral Education : Supporting Skills development to better contribute to an European knowledge society - will be held in Faculdade de Ciências Médicas of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa on 9th , 10th and 11th April. The project aimed to the professional development of non- academic staff of Doctoral Schools by setting a good practice guide.
All the universities of the consortium will be represented, including the University of Vienna , University of Zagreb , UNICA - Network of Universities from the Capitals of Europe - the Humboldt University of Berlin , the Unimed - Mediterranean Universities Union - the Vrije Universiteit Brussels , the Universiade Comenius Bratislava , Fundacion Universidad Empresa de Murcia ( FUERM ) and the University of Tallinn .
This project is based on the principle that doctoral Schools need in their services, differentiated and professionalized human resources.
During two and a half years, we intend to characterize and harmonize the needs of these professionals , design a training course and produce a manual of best practices with focus on non- academic staff of Doctoral Schools.
