The session will take place at 5.30 p.m., at NOVA's Rectorate Auditorium, Campolide Campus.
Juan Marchena Fernández has a PhD in American History and is one of the world's most renowned experts in this area. UNESCO consultant and researcher within the framework of the Latin American project to rehabilitate historic sites, he is also a member of the Permanent External Committee for Scientific Advice of the Centro de História de Além-Mar (FCSH/NOVA).
Maurizio Cotta is an internationally recognized expert in Political Sciente. He is, since 1997, Director of the Centre for the Study of Political Change, at Siena University. In 2007, he presided the international evaluation panel for research projects in Political Science submitted to the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology.
