Following the consistent success obtained over the five previous years in which it has been the national leading school in the EDUNIVERSAL ranking that evaluates the best business schools in the world, Nova SBE has just been awarded the highest distinction of 5 Palms and the status of "Universal Business School" during the EDUNIVERSAL World Convention 2013 which runs until 12 October in Bangalore, India. Nova SBE is thus the first Portuguese school to be among the exclusive list of the top 100 business schools in the world.
This ranking organized by EDUNIVERSAL (the international higher education ranking agency) compiles the evaluation of the deans from 1000 business schools from all over the world, who had the opportunity to answer a straightforward question: "Which business school(s) would you recommend to anyone wishing to study in this country?"
Professor José Ferreira Machado, Dean of Nova SBE, comments "We are very proud of this international recognition which is even more significant for it is the result of the assessment made by our peers. It is also the first time that Portugal receives the 5 Palms and we are extremely pleased that Nova SBE has been able to bring such a valuable distinction to the Portuguese higher education".
