Universidade NOVA de Lisboa is the University with more recommended programmes, as it won approval of funding for 13 PhD programmes, in a total of 51 awarded in the areas of Life and Health Sciences, Exact Sciences and Engineering, Natural and Environmental Sciences and Social Sciences and Humanities.
Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia(Foundation for Science and Technology) PhD Programmes are expected to bring together higher education institutions (HEI), research institutions and industry, to promote world-class graduate education and research-based training.
