NOVA University Lisbon marked, on 13 May, the European Doctoral Day and the EUTOPIA Day, in a moment that highlights its European vocation and its commitment to advanced education open to the world.
At Rectorate, the “Shape Your PhD” event, part of the European Doctoral Day, brought together students, researchers and faculty to reflect on the doctoral journey, promoting the sharing of experiences, challenges and opportunities, as well as the impact of scientific knowledge on society.
At the same time, EUTOPIA Day engaged different NOVA schools. At NOVA FCT, opportunities for mobility, training and collaborative research within the EUTOPIA Alliance were presented. At NOVA FCSH, a roundtable discussion explored the role of international networks in shaping the academic experience and the future of higher education.
The programme also included the release of a special episode of the podcast NOVA Talks dedicated to EUTOPIA, reinforcing dialogue around the transformations shaping academia.
