Applications are now open for the 2nd edition of the EUTOPIA_HEALTH Training Program for Research Managers: Advancing Institutional Excellence, an initiative aimed at research managers at NOVA, regardless of their level of experience or area of activity (pre-award, post-award, innovation, communication, infrastructure, science policy, open science, data management, among others).
The programme has been designed to strengthen the skills of research management professionals, preparing them to respond to the challenges of the global scientific ecosystem. Throughout the training, participants will have access to a diverse set of online, offline and in-person sessions, complemented by practical activities and case studies.
As a starting point, participants will carry out a role-mapping exercise, identifying strengths and key challenges. The programme also includes the exploration of best practices in research management, culminating in the presentation of an individual action plan that will enable the practical application of the knowledge acquired.
The training will be delivered in Portuguese, with supporting materials provided in English.

Applications
Applications are open until 12 April, with results communicated on 17 April.
Additional opportunities
Participants who complete the training will also have the opportunity to undertake an international mobility period of one month (which may be split into two periods of 15 days) at an institution within the EUTOPIA_HEALTH consortium.
