The NOVA University Lisbon will take part, for the very first time, in Student Expo 2026, one of the most influential international Higher Education fairs in Latin America and the oldest and most prestigious education fair in Brazil.
This participation strengthens NOVA’s strategic commitment to Internationalisation, providing an opportunity to deepen existing partnerships and introduce Brazilian students to our diverse academic offering as well as the services and opportunities available to international applicants.
From 21 March to 1 April, visitors will be able to find our stand across the various cities hosting the fair: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Salvador, Maceió and Recife.
The Student Expo attracts more than 30,000 Brazilian secondary school students each year — the equivalent of Portugal’s “ensino secundário” — many of whom look to Portugal as a high-quality, accessible and multicultural Higher Education destination.
According to data from the 2025 edition of the Student Fair, it is estimated that around 50% of all visitors to the fair will visit the ‘Study & Research in Portugal’ area.
In parallel, NOVA will also visit several schools in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, strengthening engagement with students, families and educational communities in Brazil.
