NOVA FCT Research Projects

NOVA FCT has solid and long-standing research experience in Aerospace Engineering, anchored in the centres of excellence of DEEC and DEMI, which for decades have led innovative projects ranging from autonomous systems and satellites to microlaunchers, advanced non-destructive inspection systems for aeronautical components and composite material structures, additive manufacturing of metallic and composite materials, and 5G/6G technologies. This strong R&D component is enhanced by strategic partnerships with industry leaders and by a significant international dimension that includes collaborations with leading European institutions, thus ensuring that students benefit directly from education based on frontier knowledge and integrated into global networks of technological innovation.
