Programmes' Accreditation

The evaluation / accreditation process of a programme is a procedure whereby A3ES verifies and formally recognizes that a given programme leading to the award of an academic degree (graduate, master or doctor), meets the requirements for its creation / operation.

In accordance with the legislation in force, the start of programmes conferring an academic degree requires prior accreditation by A3ES and subsequent registration by the Directorate-General for Higher Education (DGES). All NOVA Studies Cycles were subject to an assessment / accreditation process by A3ES and subsequent registration with DGES.
