The team unraveled the behaviour of the enzyme that produces hydrogen in a study published in Nature Chemical Biology.

The Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas and the Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica António Xavier of NOVA, in collaboration with radio Antena 1 and with support of Novartis, have created the radio program "90 seconds of science", with the objective of showcasing the science made in Portugal.

The new collaboration structure aims to improve the quality of Doctoral Programs in Portugal. 

The event registered the largest attendance in the history of the organizer - the European University Association Council for Doctoral Education.

The platform is dedicated to both students and researchers, companies and institutions of science and technology worldwide.

The Opening Day 2017 will be held in NOVA's Rectorate, Campus de Campolide, on January 17th, at 5.30 pm.

"It is a day of celebration of the University's achievements but also a day of reflection and hope for the future", said the Rector of NOVA, Professor António Rendas.
