"Organisational Innovation at NOVA" -  Message from the Rector for the April edition of the newsletter Novas da NOVA

Submissions to the Photo Contest of Universidade Nova de Lisboa are open, this year with the theme "Life of NOVA", framed in the celebration of the 50 years of the University.

The funding for the three grants totals seven million euros which demonstrates the relevance of the topic under study.

The results are part of the Patent Index 2022 released by the European Patent Office.

The new Dean will take office after homologation of the election by the Rector of NOVA University Lisbon.

The certification reflects the fulfilment of a set of requirements in the modification and qualification of NOVA's food offer, which reinforces the university's commitment to the health and well-being of its community, integrated in a path of sustainability and social and territorial cohesion.

About 40 projects were submitted to the competition in the scope of the Acting Differently Prize at NOVA, whose final results will be known at the end of April 21st, with the announcement of the winning projects in the scope of the Gala of Organisational Innovation that will take place then.   

NOVA participated in the final conference of the Project SPEAR - Supporting and Implementing Plans for Gender Equality in Academia and Research which took place in Copenhagen, Denmark on March, 1st and had as its theme: "The Future of (Gender) Equality, Inclusivity and Democratic Values in European Academia: practices, prerequisites, Pushback and Prospectives".

The lecture by the famous motivational speaker was part of the programme celebrating 50 years of NOVA - and 10 years of NOVA Doctoral School

The renowned doctor and public health specialist was recognised with the title of Doctor "honoris causa" by NOVA in the year 2012.
