Last Friday, 14 July, was the eagerly awaited Demo Day of the NOVA ImpACT Challenges 2023, an innovative programme created by the NOVA Impact office in partnership with Santander Universities. 

NOVA University Lisbon, a consortium member of the European project Mindfulness Practices for Students in Society (MP4s), recently hosted the LTT5 - Mindfulness & Leadership Training for students and staff in higher education.

SDG-aligned university is looking for candidates with the most innovative ideas in the field of sustainability, recycling and waste management. 

It is with deep regret that the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa received the news of the death of the retired professor of NOVA FCSH (1933-2023).

As it prepares to send a delegation to Rabat, NOVA is taking new steps in its internationalisation strategy for the Southern Mediterranean region. On the one hand, by strengthening its relations with local higher education institutions and, on the other, by building bridges between them. Whether from the Portuguese-speaking world or its neighbours. To understand the whole process, the key word is cooperation.

The event "Looking Ahed: The Role of Partnerships in Portugal" showed the impact of the Aga Khan University network and the mobility projects with our country - several with the signature of NOVA. 

Gerard Ryle (2017 Pulitzer Prize), Richard Roberts (1993 Nobel Prize in Medicine) and Aaron Ciechanover (2004 Nobel Prize in Chemistry) are some of the first confirmed speakers at the 8th edition of the Estoril Conferences, on 1 and 2 September, under the theme "Re-humanising our world: Planet, Peace, Politics, People.

The meeting with representatives of this university aims to strengthen the exchange of students and professors, joint scientific projects and collaboration in the field of research between the two institutions. 

The meeting took place in Lyon and brought together 19 representatives of the 4 alliances of European universities involved in the project: Arqus, Enlight, SEA-EU and EUTOPIA, the alliance of which NOVA is a member.
