The NOVA University Lisbon is witnessing a growing number of students from outside the region, which is also reflected in the demand for accommodation in the University’s residences. Therefore, the aim is to renovate and modernise the University’s three residences. This renovation will focus on various innovative aspects, such as architectural design, the adoption of a functional model tailored to territorial specificities, the use of sustainable and cost-effective raw materials that are technologically advanced, with an emphasis on Energy Efficiency, Environmental Sustainability, Effectiveness, and Comfort.

This follows the cessation of activities by the Instituto Particular de Desenvolvimento Sócio-Cultural, which was previously responsible for the Centre. The Agenda Decentralising Portugal with Blockchain aims to establish a national blockchain cluster, recognising the importance of this technology as a driver of innovation and leveraging global business opportunities it generates. It brings together 56 organisations (24 companies, 15 ENESII, 2 associations, 5 public entities, and 10 associated partners) under the leadership of VOID Software, organised into six vertical WPs (Agriculture and Agri-Food; Health; Smart and Sustainable Territories; Sports, Leisure, and Culture; New Knowledge Economy; Digital Asset Management) and four horizontal WPs (Management; Capacity Building; Innovation and Dissemination; Interoperability). Main Objective
BE.Neutral aims to position Portugal as an exporter of cyber-physical zero-carbon mobility products for cities worldwide. It was designed to develop, industrialise, and operate new cyber-physical products (physical devices, connectivity, and data science platforms) capable of real-time quantification of emissions avoided to accelerate carbon neutrality by 2030. Main Objective
The BE@T project will contribute to the generation and consolidation of a truly innovative, sustainable, and circular National Textile and Apparel Industry Value Chain. This will be achieved through the development of traceable textile products and materials derived from biological, renewable sources with improved environmental credentials, without compromising performance levels.
These new materials will be sourced from renewable raw materials produced as locally as possible (including forests, agro-industrial residues, and alternative natural fibers), processed using advanced and sustainable production and finishing technologies. The project will also explore innovative approaches in eco-design and eco-engineering to ensure the circularity of all textile products generated within this structured project. Finally, BE@T will promote a culture of sustainability and responsible consumption by informing and engaging consumers, textile supply chain agents, brands, and other relevant stakeholders.

13 – Energy Efficiency in Buildings
This program aims to finance measures that promote energy efficiency and enhance the production of renewable energy for self-consumption, contributing to the improvement of energy and environmental performance in the Central Public Administration buildings. Specifically, the goal is for the supported measures to lead to, on average, at least a 30% reduction in primary energy consumption in the buildings involved and contribute to a 20% reduction in water consumption in those buildings.

Main Objective
The building covered by this application is dedicated to Higher Education activities by the National School of Public Health at NOVA University Lisbon (ENSP). Following an energy efficiency audit, several improvement opportunities were identified that will increase the energy performance of the building, reduce annual energy costs, and improve the energy classification. It is expected that primary energy consumption will be reduced by 40.06%, from 419,786 kWh/year to 251,621 kWh/year, and the annual greenhouse gas emissions will decrease by 42.04 tons of CO2 per year, from 104.95 tons of CO2 to 62.91 tons of CO2.
