Scholarships
Social support grants were set up with the aim of meeting the needs of students whose family’s economic situation makes it difficult or impossible for them to continue their higher education studies.
Accommodation
SASNOVA ´s three university residences give academic life a lively and convivial atmosphere. These spaces are aimed at students, teachers and researchers at the university, with priority given to Portuguese scholarship students and foreign students on mobility programmes.
Canteens
In addition to a wide range of cafeterias and snack bars, we have three canteens where students can have social meals. Find out more.
For all those who want to adopt a healthier eating pattern, nutrition consultations are available.
Childcare
NOVA offers its entire academic community (students, teachers, researchers and staff) a family-friendly lifestyle. In addition to a hybrid work system, it also has a Pre-School Education Centre in Caparica (NOVA FCT) and various activities to occupy the holidays.
Sports
Physical activity promotes a healthy lifestyle and a sense of community. At NOVA we encourage all students, teachers/researchers and staff to integrate sport into their daily lives. We want to promote a healthier, more united and resilient academic community.
