Call for NOVA students: the next EUTOPIA Ideas Club will focus on climate change. Apply until the 10th March!

26 de February, 2024

Are you a NOVA undergraduate student, are you interested in climate issues, and do you want to represent the University at a meeting of the Alliance of European Universities of which we are a member? The next EUTOPIA Ideas Club, to be held in Venice next 23 April, will be dedicated to climate change and applications are open until 10 March.

This is the second meeting promoted by EUTOPIA, the alliance of European universities of which NOVA is a member – the first one took place in October and was dedicated to inclusion, as you can see in the images below – and it involves students from all the partner universities: the University of Babeș-Bolyai in Cluj-Napoca (Romania), Pompeu Fabra University-Barcelona (Spain), Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium), CY Cergy Paris University (France), Technische Universität Dresden (Germany), University of Gothenburg (Sweden), University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), Ca’Foscari University of Venice (Italy) and University of Warwick (United Kingdom).

Those selected will simply have to write an essay on climate change and send it to carlotta.pisano@unl.pt by 30 March. Otherwise, don’t worry: NOVA will pay for your return travel and accommodation in Venice.

All you have to do to apply is:

  • Write a letter of motivation of no more than 1500 words.
  • Have an excellent command of English
  • And attach your curriculum vitae.

The deadline for applications (to be sent to eutopia@unl.pt) is 10 March and the results will be announced the following day.
