The meeting was dedicated to internationalization and new trends for quality assurance.
Isabel Nunes, vice-rector of NOVA responsible for Quality, and the rest of the team from the European Degree Label (EDLab) project were present at the European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF 2023), which took place between the 23rd and 25th of November, at University of Aveiro, under the theme “Internationalization in a changing word. New trends and challenges for Quality Assurance”.
In this context, EDLab – which also includes the participation of Ana Lebre (EUTOPIA Alliance | NOVA University of Lisbon), Laura Howard (SEA-EU Alliance | University of Cadiz), Samira Bonucci (Arqus Alliance | University of Padua) and Lotte Laenen (ENLIGHT Alliance | Ghent University) – promoted the workshop “European Degree Label – challenges and opportunities.
During the Workshop, the first results of the project were presented and, in a very interactive and participative way, the criteria underlying the European Degree Label were tested and analyzed.
Participants had the opportunity to reflect on the applicability of the criteria to current programs and the challenges created for their fulfillment.
