NOVA present at the II Seminar “European Degree Label: Criteria and Challenges”

15 de October, 2024

NOVA University Lisbon participated in the II Seminar “European Degree Label: Criteria and Challenges”, held at the University of Minho on 11th October, represented by the Vice-Rector Isabel Nunes, in charge of the Quality and Accreditation Department, and by Ana Lebre, Area Coordinator.

This event is part of the cycle of seminars organised by the Portuguese partners of the European University Alliances in the EDLab pilot project, i.e. University of the Algarve (SEA-EU Alliance), University of the Minho (ARQUS Alliance) and NOVA University Lisbon (EUTOPIA Alliance).

The project was born out of the initiative approved by the European Commission to facilitate the issuing of joint diplomas, degrees and certificates throughout the European Higher Education Area, to overcome existing barriers to transnational cooperation and to disseminate universal criteria linked to the corresponding joint programmes.

The next seminar will take place on 18 October at the Rectory of NOVA and aims to contribute to the debate on adapting the content of the higher education initiatives published by the European Commission to the national context with a view to implementing the European Diploma.
