Over the last two years, Skoola Music Academy, with the support of the EDP Foundation, has created the “Music with Energy” project, involving a wide range of young people in the creation of three shows – “If I Wanted to Change the Future”, “Aurelis” and “Monopolio” – which resulted from these young people’s reflections on the climate crisis, taking water, air and land respectively as their starting points.
This “Question Mark”, which NOVA Cultura is now presenting, is the culmination of this cycle of creation, revisiting previous shows to (re)construct the thought and discourse created by the group of participants throughout this process.
It is a multidisciplinary music, theatre and video show featuring 15 skoolers aged 10 to 18 and guest artists such as Ana Pêgo. It is artistically directed by Abel Arez and presented by Margarida Antunes.
What issues concern them? What is their vision of the future? What do they want to call us in the face of the crisis? What do these young people have to say to us?
