On June 17th and 18th SDSN Portugal organized the International Conference Paving the Way to the Pact of the Future, joining national and international experts, including Professor Jeffrey Sachs, president of UN SDSN, to discuss around three topics: transforming education, meaningful youth engagement and measuring beyond GDP. More than 700 participants registered, being more than 200 in person, from 89 countries. This has revealed that Portugal is able to mobilise and attract people from around the world and sustainable development is a priority challenge to address.
