ZDB brings to Lisbon one of the most influential names in contemporary music: William Basinski. The American composer, renowned worldwide for his masterpiece The Disintegration Loops, will perform at the Rectory of NOVA University Lisbon in a unique concert where time and memory blend in a singular way.
With a career spanning over three decades, Basinski is known for transforming sound into deeply emotional experiences, without falling into easy nostalgia. From the iconic 92982 to his latest release The Clocktower at the Beach (2023), each album and each concert offer a distinct journey, inviting the audience to rethink their relationship with the present.
Having performed in Portugal several times before, Basinski returns for another rare opportunity to experience his music live.
