SUPERNOVA Summer School

NOVA FCT
Registration is now open for the MatNova2025 NOVA FCT Mathematics Summer School! From 2 to 6 September 2025, the Department of Mathematics at NOVA University Lisbon’s Faculty of Science and Technology invites high school students to take part in a week of learning, discovery and inspiration around mathematics.
NOVA FCSH Summer Courses
The NOVA FCSH Summer School, which takes place between July and August, offers short-term training courses lasting 15 or 25 hours. The school aims to provide a space for curricular experimentation, interdisciplinarity and internationalisation. This school offers teachers, researchers and students the opportunity to participate in collaborative and creative activities, which is an excellent way to develop skills, update knowledge and deepen academic understanding. Proposals include the Summer Course in Portuguese as a Foreign Language (levels A1 to C1) and the Intensive Online Portuguese Course for Level A2 students.

ITQB NOVA Summer Science
Summer Science is a summer internship program that gives undergraduate students (2nd and 3rd years) the opportunity to learn about the science done at ITQB NOVA, from behind the scenes to the front lines. For one week, students are integrated into a research laboratory, where they develop a scientific project. In addition, they participate in scientific discussions, workshops and social activities.
