To close the semester, on Saturday, 20 December, we will head towards the floodgate for a walk through the rice fields and waterways. This area is considered one of the most important wetlands in Portugal, attracting more than a hundred species of birds. As a backdrop, we will have the River Sado and the entire Arrábida hillside.
NOVA’s hikes, accompanied by guide Felisberto Tavares, are fun and challenging moments to enjoy with friends, while discovering idyllic places in our country!
On all hikes, it is advisable to bring snacks, water, and clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather.
