With the aim of bringing academia closer to entrepreneurship, democratising access to social impact and also enhancing academic knowledge in creating opportunities for entrepreneurs and social organisations, the initiative is the result of a partnership between NOVA University Lisbon, Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa and Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
Organised by NOVA’s Socio-Territorial Innovation Office, in collaboration with Casa do Impacto and Católica, the launch event aims to be a first moment of reflection on the role of universities in sustainable entrepreneurship.
The project is fully funded by the European Union through the Lisbon 2030 Regional Programme and the Portuguese Social Innovation Mission Structure (EMPIS), and is also supported by the Lisbon City Council, the Galp Foundation and the Santander Foundation as social investors.
