Exploring how biological sex and gender influence health outcomes throughout life is the theme of the conference “Sex Differences in Health: From Clinical Practice to Biomedical Research and Drug Design”, to be held at the Rectory of NOVA University Lisbon on 4 November.
Promoted by NOVA Health, it gives a voice to experts from various fields to discuss differences in disease risk, diagnosis, response to treatment and prevention strategies between women and men.
By highlighting the importance of sex-based research and clinical approaches, the event aims to promote the importance of more personalised and effective healthcare for all.
