This time, the challenge is to reach the Belas forest via a route that, despite being close to the urban environment, promises to immerse us completely in nature – from cork oaks to oak trees and eucalyptus trees to the waterways of the Belas stream and the Jamor river, which in turn flows into the Tagus. This fertile place was the target of several water catchments that later became part of the free water aqueduct project.
NOVA Hikes, accompanied by guide Felisberto Tavares, are fun and challenging moments to enjoy with friends, while discovering idyllic places in our country!
On all walks, it is advisable to bring snacks, water, and clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather.
