As part of International Open Access Week, the session is aimed at researchers, librarians, Research Data Management and Open Science professionals, educational development managers, and students within the NOVA community who are interested in the intersection between artificial intelligence and open science.
The programme includes a brief welcome session, a 60-minute panel discussion, and a Q&A session with the audience. Practical cases of AI application in scientific communication and education will be addressed, as well as issues of governance, integrity, and openness of models, data, code, prompts, and outputs.
The panel will feature Gerasimos (Jerry) Spanakis (Maastricht University), Ana Meštrović (University of Rijeka), Lars Ailo Bongo (UiT The Arctic University of Norway) and Iva Melinščak Zlodi (University of Zagreb).
