On 10 November 2025, the EUTOPIA Alliance will host its second annual EUTOPIA Day, bringing together ten partner universities across Europe under the shared theme: “You Belong Here.” This year’s edition places inclusion at the core of its celebrations, inviting students, faculty, researchers, and local communities to reflect on how belonging is cultivated through interdisciplinarity, innovation, and collaboration.
Throughout the day, a diverse programme of activities will showcase EUTOPIA’s commitment to expanding access, embracing diversity, and fostering a shared European identity. Events will include workshops, debates, student-led initiatives, fairs, and digital exhibitions — all designed to promote inclusive and sustainable academic cooperation.
Key focus areas include:
Innovative pedagogical models, blended mobility, and Connected Communities that support student-centred and inclusive education.
Cross-campus collaboration through initiatives such as TeamWork, the Young Leaders Academy, and Innovation Challenges, which enhance the accessibility and diversity of international experiences.
Digital inclusion, exploring how technology can reduce inequalities and support internationalisation at home.
Global and green perspectives, highlighting partnerships beyond Europe and promoting sustainable practices in academic mobility.
Best practices in fostering belonging, from interdisciplinary projects to inclusive institutional policies aligned with EUTOPIA’s core values.
The theme “You Belong Here” encapsulates the spirit of the day: EUTOPIA is a university alliance where every voice is valued, every discipline contributes, and every community finds its place.
As Mattia Bellotti, Secretary-General of EUTOPIA, remarked: “EUTOPIA Day is an opportunity to demonstrate that EUTOPIA is not an abstract concept, but a tangible reality across our universities — and that belonging is not just a principle we uphold, but a shared experience we are building together.”
