For three days, NOVA is the stage for the general assembly of YERUN - Young European Research Universities, debating the best way to promote talent in young research universities in Europe.
Founded in 2016, the Young European Research Universities Network (YERUN) main objective is to increase the voice of young universities in Europe through dedicated strategic representation and enhanced cooperation, maximizing opportunities for collaboration in areas of interest and benefit mutual.
"In the year in which we celebrate 50 years, I want to tell you that we will be "young forever", as Bob Dylan sang in 1973, and continue investing in research, as a civic and global university", said the Rector of NOVA University Lisbon João Sàágua, corroborated by Vice-Rector João Amaro de Matos.
Remember that, since the beginning of 2023, Vice-Rector João Amaro de Matos has been vice-president of the Executive Board of YERUN.
