Professor Elvira Fortunato received the award that recognizes her work in the area of Advanced Materials Science in an event in Warsaw.
Professor Elvira Fortunato, Vice-Rector of NOVA and Director of CENIMAT at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologias, received the Czochralski 2017 Award on September 20, in the annual fall conference of the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) that took place in Warsaw University of Technology in Warsaw, Poland.
The award, announced in the beginning of this year, is a recognition of the researcher’s work in the area of Advanced Materials Science. The award is attributed by the European Society for Research on Materials (E-MRS) in conjunction with the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Polish Society of Materials Science and the Polish Crystal Growth Society.
