NOVA University Lisbon’s initiative, which connects people with spare rooms with people looking for somewhere to live and study, has officially been integrated into the ODSlocal platform. Rede 1/4‘s application was approved for meeting all the pre-established criteria, demonstrating its high relevance and positive impact on the region.
This integration is an important step in establishing Rede 1/4 as an innovative, sustainable solution to the housing crisis with economic, ecological and social benefits.
The ODSlocal platform aims to mobilise municipalities, public entities and civil society to create a national movement committed to achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. By showcasing initiatives such as Rede 1/4, the platform enhances the visibility of transformative projects and fosters the development of an active and collaborative community.
With the support of partners such as CNADS, OBSERVA, MARE and 2Adapt, the ODSlocal platform provides a dynamic portal through which you can view and monitor municipalities’ contributions to the SDGs, ensuring quality information and a strong focus on communication.
Rede 1/4’s presence on the ODSlocal platform highlights its direct contribution to global sustainable development goals, thereby reinforcing NOVA University Lisbon’s role in developing inclusive and effective solutions to contemporary social challenges.
