Coming from eight different countries, around 20 students aged between 16 and 19 spent a month at NOVA University in Lisbon, learning about our fields of knowledge and, as a bonus, exploring Lisbon and its surroundings.
Climate change, food, urban planning, scientific and technological innovation, healthy living in a digital world, 3D printing, circular economy, travel medicine, antimicrobial resistance… The four-week programme of this 3rd edition of the SUPERNOVA Summer School was a real innovation dip for around 20 students aged 16 to 19, who shared classrooms and laboratories with NOVA professors and researchers.
But that’s not all: these boys and girls, who came from countries as diverse as Germany, Belarus, Brazil, Colombia, the United States, Italy, Portugal and the United Kingdom, also got to know the most diverse icons of the city – from the Jerónimos Monastery to the LX Factory – and enjoyed the beach so close by.
