The Social Data is a project of the Observatory for Living and Working Conditions launched in March 2024 for the scientific dissemination of interdisciplinary data on work, sustainability, social inequality, health and living conditions in Portugal.

Coordinated by Raquel Varela, professor and researcher at FCSH NOVA, the project promotes partnerships with a variety of public and associative institutions, to carry out scientific studies, contribute to their dissemination and make social data related to living and working conditions in Portugal public and freely accessible.

More than 80 people, researchers, teachers, representatives of professional associations and trade unions were present at the presentation of the project and respective web portal.

With this project, NOVA has positioned itself at the center of social data knowledge dissemination in Portugal.
