António Granado is an assistant professor of Journalism at FCSH/UNL.
For the last 25 years, he has been working as a science journalist, mainly at Público, one of Portugal’s main daily quality newspapers, where he also was science editor, sub-editor-in-chief, managing editor and online editor.
He holds a MSc on Science Journalism from Boston University, in the US, and PhD on Communication Sciences from the University of Leeds, in the UK. As an academic, he has taught at several Portuguese universities. As a journalist, he has written extensively about science and the environment. He coordinates, together with Ana Sanchez, the Science Communication Master program at UNL.
