Crowdhelix

NOVA is a member of Crowdhelix – an open innovation platform that empowers global collaborative communities! This platform fosters collaborative projects and networking, bringing together researchers and research managers in a network of universities and more than 660 innovative companies.

Crowdhelix has over 50 communities (Helixes) and 15.000 keywords that put together researchers, industry experts and innovators with shared interests among several research areas. Crowdhelix also host Training and Network events that are free of charge for its members!

You can log into the Crowdhelix platform using your NOVA email address at https://crowdhelix.com/login. Once you log in, you can complete your profile and tailor your communities to network with like-minded researchers.

After that, you can access available opportunities and events that might suit you or post your calls of interest for a new or existing project to reach out to possible collaborators!

CONNECT by YERUN – A platform for collaborative research among YERUN members

CONNECT by YERUN is a centralised digital resource that facilitates collaboration, data access, and networking for researchers and research management teams across YERUN (Young European Research Universities Network) institutions, of which NOVA is part of. By offering tailored tools for both researchers and managers, the platform is a vital part of YERUN’s mission to foster open science and cross-disciplinary research throughout Europe.

The platform is available to all researchers and research managers within the YERUN network, including teaching and research staff affiliated to NOVA (to access the platform, users are required to have an ORCID ID and have their email publicly visible on ORCID).

 

  • For Researchers: CONNECT by YERUN is a gateway to a wider professional network, enabling researchers to explore new project possibilities, find collaborators across Europe, and increase the impact of their work. The platform’s data insights and matchmaking tools simplify the process of initiating and maintaining productive partnerships.
  • For Research Managers: CONNECT by YERUN equips research managers with essential tools to oversee and support research activities within their institutions. From tracking ongoing projects to aligning with funding calls, research managers can use the platform to streamline their strategies and facilitate collaboration.
  • Dynamic collaboration insight: real-time insights into the current research focus areas and collaborations across YERUN institutions.
  • Comprehensive data access: access to an extensive repository of data on YERUN members’ EU project participation and publication history.
  • Intelligent matchmaking tool: possibility for researchers and managers to identify ideal collaborators for funding applications, new research initiatives, and opportunities.
  • Integration with EU funding calls: integrated access to current and upcoming EU funding calls, matching these opportunities with relevant researchers within the network.
