NOVA University of Lisbon is promoting a different kind of meeting, where the sharing of a home is combined with the exchange of experiences between generations. Organised as part of the ¼ Network, this intergenerational speed dating event brings together senior citizens with spare rooms and students looking for accommodation in a dynamic and informal environment.
The event will take place at the NOVA FCSH Campus, Avenida de Berna, and aims not only to facilitate possible “matches” for living together, but also to promote intergenerational dialogue and empathy.
Presented by Fernando Alvim, Mrs Cremilde and student José Catalão, the event will feature short conversations between participants and musical moments with DJ Estamina, in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Registration is free, but limited to 20 students and 20 seniors, and can be done online. A unique opportunity to make unexpected connections and explore new ways of living together.
