NOVA will be represented by the Vice-Rector for Innovation, Value Creation and Global Affairs, Isabel Rocha, at the Borschette Centre in Brussels, where the European Commission’s annual conference dedicated to knowledge valorisation will take place.
The session attended by the NOVA representative is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. local time (09:15 in Lisbon) and is entitled ‘From Research to Market: Towards a Blueprint on Licensing and Spinoff Creation’, focusing on licensing and the creation of spinoffs.
This annual meeting brings together policymakers, academics and business representatives to discuss the future of innovation in Europe. This year’s agenda includes strategic topics such as the Horizon Europe proposals, the European Strategy for Startups and Scaleups, and the recently adopted Strategy for Research and Technology Infrastructure.
By participating in the meeting, NOVA is demonstrating its commitment to innovation and the role of universities in building a more competitive and sustainable Europe.
The conference will be broadcast online and is open to the public. See the agenda here and register to follow the sessions.
