This is the 1st edition of the programme developed by NOVA Impact in partnership with Sociedade Ponto Verde (SPV).
Circular InNOVA(tion) is a programme that aims to attract students with innovative projects who want to work on specific challenges launched by SPV.
At the kick-off meeting on 17 November, the participants and the SPV team shared the complexity of the packaging management process, presented the challenges and clarified doubts.
The teams also participated in a session on “How to make an impactful pitch” to capture the jury’s interest in the potential of their ideas and have the opportunity to move on to the next phase.
The next phase will run until March 2024. Each selected team will receive a monetary value of €1000 to continue developing their projects near SPV partners and have access to dedicated mentoring from NOVA and specialized workshops on different topics important to the smooth development of projects.
This program focuses on specific and important challenges for SPV such as: “How to create a fair pay as you throw system?”, “How to create an “on-demand” waste management system?” or even “How to encourage society to reduce the amount of waste but also separate more and better?”
