Programme Accreditation

The evaluation/accreditation process of a study cycle is a procedure by which A3ES formally verifies and recognizes that a given study cycle leading to the award of an academic degree (bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or doctor’s degree) satisfies the requirements required for its creation/operation.

According to current legislation, the entry into operation of study cycles granting an academic degree require prior accreditation by A3ES and subsequent registration with the Directorate-General for Higher Education (DGES). All NOVA study cycles were subject to an evaluation/accreditation process by A3ES and subsequent registration with DGES.
