Erasmus +

ERASMUS + is the European Union's program for education, training, youth and sport. This program will run from 01/01/2014 to 12/31/2020 and was established by Regulation (EU) No 1288/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2013. This program consolidates a single framework supporting the areas of education, training, youth and sport and other international programs, including Jean Monnet and Erasmus Mundus.

The Erasmus + program is intended to support education, training, youth and sport in all sectors of lifelong learning, including higher education, vocational training, adult education, school education, youth activities and training in the field of sport.

NOVA has participated in the Erasmus Program since its creation in 1987.

Being the holder of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2014-2020, and under its Erasmus Policy Statement NOVA offers individual mobility opportunities for learning or training purposes for its students, academic and administrative staff in Europe (Studies and Traineeships, Teaching or Training) and in the rest of the world (International Credit Mobility - ICM).

These mobility projects will allow participants to travel to another country to study, work, teach, train and develop professional skills.
