Being part of this alliance will bring great opportunities to collaborate with our European partners in order to develop our mission of being a global and civic university. For NOVA this means to be a high international profile, student centred institution, that serves society through knowledge and addresses today’s global and local challenges in innovative and impactful ways.

Prof. João Sàágua, Rector of NOVA

EUTOPIA provides opportunities such as mobility, collaborative research, shared innovation, among others, for students and staff alike, from undergraduate through post-doc, and for researchers, teachers, technical and administrative staff. The communication of these opportunities and activities with NOVA community will be initiated shortly. EUTOPIA STUDENT THINK TANK (EUSTT)

Created within the EUTOPIA Alliance, an ambitious union of nine-like minded European universities, the EUTOPIA Student Think Tank announces the creation of a platform to empower students to share knowledge and ideas. When it comes to research, it has a central part in the educational experience of students at universities. While conducting research, students can find answers to pending questions, fill gaps in knowledge and gain valuable insight into their particular field. Their developed expertise can play a leading role in improving civil society. The EUTOPIA Student Think Tank is dedicated to building a platform to share knowledge and incubate new ideas to contribute to the progress of society. Run by a highly diversified group of student researchers, it allows students to publish their works and recommendations. It also offers skill-training to engage the student community in policy-shaping and policy-making processes to create positive impacts in society. The importance of such an initiative stems from the central role of education in one’s life by making knowledge available to everyone.

Get empowered, inspired and engaged with the EUTOPIA Student Think Tank!
