This course aims to provide training in the most important aspects of parasitology, mainly from a medical perspective.
Main goals include:
- Explain essential concepts used in parasitology;
- Describe and name the major ectoparasites and parasites helminths and protozoa;
- Use relevant bioinformatic resources in parasitology;
- Interpreting phylogenetic trees of parasites and their hosts.
