NOVA at the EUTOPIA Ideas Club of the Gothenburg International Science Festival

The session on how waves of historical events have a profound impact on our collective narratives was the highlight of the Gothenburg International Science Festival, on 17 April.

Composed of students from several Swedish universities, this Ideas Club focused on the interaction between waves of historical events and their profound impact on the formation of our collective narratives - taking into account the evolving scenarios of education, migration, trade, and globalisation.

The discussion was led by Catherine Gillo Nilsson, coordinator of the EUTOPIA MORE Inclusion Group at the University of Gothenburg, and included a diverse panel including Carlotta Pisano from NOVA University of Lisbon, Alessia Lorenzon from Ca' Foscari University of Venice and several representatives from the University of Gothenburg, such as Jeremy Land, Ram Krishna Ranjan, and Karin Jonson.
